I loved this movie when it came out, but this version of this song really stood out for me. It just sounds so elegant in Arabic. I just wish I had asked someone to tell me what “feed your head” was in Arabic because there’s got to be a reason that line was the only one not translated.

Wow, I could listen to that woman sing all day. What a voice! I just looked up her name and am going to look for more work by her. Love it. I have always loved this song. I had no idea it was in this movie as I have never seen it. In reference to question, I think they didn’t translate it because they knew what it meant and maybe did not want to encourage people to go feed their brains with drugs.
I was thinking it wouldn’t fit in the music, but you could be right.
