In this season a main character took on a new position away from Nonatus house and so far has not returned (despite the fact that her husband is still around. You’d think she could pop in once a season for a few screen minutes for verisimilitude, but no. I’m a little sour about it.) The star for me this season was Patsy’s relationship with Delia. They touched on male homosexuality in one episode, but this was an ongoing story arc that go into more historical cultural detail which I always love.
