Sigh. Better that they stopped while they were ahead, but it’s still so sad that there are no more Next Generation episodes. The romance they were trying to develop between Worf and Troi was a little stale for me, but honestly I think TV writers think all they have to do to develop a romance between characters is tell us it’s happening and we believe. The only romances I’ve really felt worked on sci fi shows both involved Jewel Staite so I’m pretty sure she’s just awesome. That final episode really tied the whole series together, going back to the first episode to tie up a plot thread.

This is the season where Deanna Troi finally gets a couple of really outstanding episodes. Fist Full Of Datas and Face Of the Enemy were both fantastic episodes for that character. Rascals and Tapestry were also wonderful. I find myself thinking about Tapestry every time I think of a regret I’ve had in my life.
